Step 1: Blot The Stained Area with a Clean Cloth

If a pet bed has been stained with soy sauce, the first step is to use a clean cloth to blot stain and soak up as much liquid as possible. Be sure to not rub or scrub the stain, as this can cause stain to spread.

Step 2: Mix Together a Stain Removal Solution

Mix one tablespoon of laundry detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar together in a bowl. Stir together until it forms a paste-like consistency.

Step 3: Apply Stain Removal Solution to the Stained Area

Once the solution has been made, use a clean cloth to apply the paste to the stained area. Be sure to cover the entire area with the paste. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Rinse with Cold Water (Optional)

Once paste has had time to work, rinse the affected area with cold water. Use a clean cloth or sponge to gently scrub the area.

Step 5: Blot Dry with a Clean Cloth and Air Dry

Once all the soap and vinegar mixture have been rinsed away, use a clean cloth to blot area dry. Allow the area to air dry completely before using the bed again.
