Accidents happen, and sometimes the result is a soy sauce stain on your pencil skirt. But don't despair! You can easily get that stain out with some everyday ingredients.

First, you need to make an absorbent paste. Begin by mixing together one part baking soda and one part water in a cup until you have a thick paste. Spread the paste over the stain so it is completely covered. Leave the paste on for 30 minutes.
Once the paste has been on for the required amount of time, use a kitchen sponge to rub out the paste from fabric. The baking soda will have absorbed most of soy sauce stain.
Next, mix 1/2 cup white vinegar with 1/4 cup cold water in a bowl. With a clean cloth or sponge, dab the vinegar solution onto the remaining stain. As you see the stain fading, rinse with cold water.
Finally, blot the area dry with a clean towel. Once the material is completely dry, place the skirt in the washing machine, using your regular detergent and cold water. Set the cycle to "delicate" and your skirt should look as good as new.
