Start by using a clean cloth to gently blot away any excess soy sauce on the fabric. This will help to absorb majority of the stain before you move onto the next step.
After blotting the majority of the soy sauce off fabric, use a stain remover specifically designed for protein-based stains. Spray the remover directly onto the stain and let sit for 5 minutes before rubbing it into the fabric.
Once you have treated the area with a protein-based stain remover, it is time to wash the fabric. Make sure to set your washing machine on a delicate cycle and use cold water. Never use hot water as it can set the stain.
The last step in removing soy sauce stains from Paul Smith fabric is to air-dry or, if absolutely necessary, use low heat. If you do use heat, make sure to only use the lowest setting and never place the fabric directly onto the dryer.
