Soy sauce stains can be a nuisance especially when they have stained your favourite muslin cloths. If you have been wondering how to get rid of them, look no further. Here are some simple steps you can take to get rid of those nasty stains in no time.
Step 1: Soaking in Cold Water
Begin by soaking your muslin cloth in cold water for 15-20 minutes. This will help loosen the soy sauce from the fabric.
Step 2: Pouring Vinegar
Once you have soaked it, pour some white vinegar on top of the stain and let it soak for another 10-15 minutes. The vinegar will help to break down the soy sauce molecules and make it easier to remove.
Step 3: Scrubbing with Detergent
Take some detergent and dip your cloth into it. Scrub gently around the affected area and keep rinsing until stain has disappeared.
Step 4: Washing in the Washing Machine
Once you have scrubbed the stain off, wash the cloth in the washing machine. Make sure to use a mild detergent and set the temperature to cold. This will help prevent soy sauce from setting into the fabric.
Step 5: Drying
After washing your cloth, hang it out to dry. Alternatively, you can also use a tumble dryer on a low heat setting. Following these steps should help you get rid of soy sauce stains from your muslin cloths in no time. However, if the stain still persists, you may have to repeat the process for better results.
