What You'll Need:
- Liquid laundry detergent
- White vinegar
- Large bucket or bowl
- Soft-bristled brush or toothbrush
- Clean cloth
- Paper towels
Step-by-Step Guide:
- If the stain is wet, promptly blot the excess soy sauce with paper towels.
- Mix together a solution of warm water and liquid laundry detergent in the bucket or bowl. Make sure the solution is not too sudsy.
- Dip the soft-bristled brush in the solution and use it to gently scrub stain.
- Allow the solution to sit on the soy sauce stain for 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse stained area of your mules with cold water and pat it dry with a clean cloth.
- If the stain persists, mix together equal parts white vinegar and water in a bowl and dip the soft-bristled brush into the solution. Gently scrub the stain once more.
- Rinse the area with cold water again and allow it to air-dry.
