Accidentally spilling soy sauce on your lingerie is an all too common problem. It can sometimes seem like a complicated process to remove the stains and restore your lingerie, but it doesn't have to be. Here are some tips to help you get rid of those pesky soy sauce stains.

Step 1: Scrape off Excess Soy Sauce

Using a dull knife or spoon, scrape off as much of the soy sauce from the stain as possible. Make sure to do this carefully to avoid damaging the fabric.

Step 2: Soak in Vinegar Solution

Mix equal parts white vinegar and cold water in a bowl. Soak the stained area in the solution for 30 minutes. This helps to loosen up the stain.

Step 3: Blot with Dish Detergent

Mix liquid dish detergent and cold water together and pour it onto the stained area. Using a clean towel, gently blot the stain until it's removed. Rinse the area with cold water and repeat if necessary.

Step 4: Use a Stain Remover

If the stain still won't budge, try using a stain remover specifically designed for delicate fabrics. Follow instructions on the packaging.

Step 5: Rinse & Wash with Detergent

Once stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water and then wash the item of lingerie with your usual detergent. Hang it up to dry and it should be good as new.

With these simple steps, you should be able to easily remove any soy sauce stains from your lingerie. You'll be able to enjoy wearing your favourite pieces again in no time.
