Accidentally spill soy sauce on your leather furniture or clothing? Don’t panic! With a few household items, you can quickly remove any visible stain in three easy steps.

Using a washcloth or towel, gently blot soy sauce away from the leather. Don’t rub or scrub the stain, as this may cause further damage to the leather.
Combine a teaspoon of dish soap with a cup of tepid water. Dip a soft cloth into this mixture and wring out the excess liquid.
Starting from the outside of the stain and working your way in, gently rub the damp cloth over the stain. Keep dabbing at stain until it is completely gone. Be sure to check the cloth often for soiled residue.
Once the stain has been removed, rinse the cloth in clear water and wipe away any leftover soap residue from the leather. Blot the area dry with a clean towel and allow the leather to air dry.
