Step 1: Blot the Stain Immediately

As soon as you notice a soy sauce stain, grab a paper towel or a soft cloth and gently blot the area to absorb the liquid. Don't rub or scrub, as this could spread the stain further. Instead, pat area gently until liquid has been absorbed.

Step 2: Use White Vinegar and Water

Next, mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with one cup of water. Use a clean, dry cloth to dip into the solution and dab onto the soy sauce stain. This process should help lighten stain and gently remove it from the Hermes material.

Step 3: Apply Detergent to Stain

After the stain has been removed with the vinegar and water mixture, make a detergent solution using one teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent and one cup of warm water. Dab this mixture onto the area using a clean, dry cloth, and keep blotting until liquid is absorbed. This will help disinfect area while also further removing the stain.

Step 4: Rinse and Dry

Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water and then pat it dry with a soft cloth. Allow the area to air dry completely before using the Hermes item again.
