The first step in treating a soy sauce stain is to blot it immediately with an absorbent cloth or paper towel. Do not rub the spilled sauce into the material, as this will only make the stain worse. Instead, blot gently to soak up as much of the liquid as possible.
Once you've blotted out as much of the stain as possible, grab a gum eraser. A gum eraser is specially formulated to remove stains without damaging material. Gently rub eraser over the stained area. You may need to do this several times to completely remove the stain.
Fill a bowl with warm water and a small amount of detergent. Dip a rag in the mixture and use it to scrub the stained area of the headphones. Rinse with clean water and blot the area dry with a clean, absorbent cloth.
Once you've finished washing the headphones, let them air dry in a well-ventilated area. Avoid using a blow dryer or putting them in direct sunlight, as this can damage the material.
