Take a dry, clean cloth or paper towel and gently press it onto stain to absorb as much of the residual soy sauce as possible. Make sure not to rub the fabric – this could spread the stain further. Move the cloth around until the entire stain area is covered.
Mix a cleaning solution using hot water and laundry detergent. Place the stained headband in the cleaning solution and allow it to soak for at least 10 minutes. This will help to loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.
Rinse the headband with cold water to remove any remaining detergent residue. Do not wring it out as this may cause stain to spread.
Apply a specialized laundry pre-treatment product to the stain and let it sit for several minutes to give it time to work. When you're done, gently scrub area with a soft brush until the stain is gone.
Place the headband in washing machine and launder according to the manufacturer's instructions. If you’re not sure what those are, use a gentle cycle and a mild detergent. Be sure to use cold water to prevent stain from setting in further.
Once the headband has been laundered, hang it up to dry. Do not place it in the dryer as this could cause stain to set in further.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
