If you're someone who loves soy sauce, chances are you've had it end up on clothes, furniture, and other items. Unfortunately, this includes your hair ties! Follow these simple steps to get rid of the soy sauce stain:
- Start by gently spotting the affected area with a paper towel or tissue.
- Create a mixture of baking soda and water and apply it to the soy sauce stain on the hair tie using a soft cloth.
- Allow the baking soda mixture to sit for about 15 minutes.
- Rinse off baking soda mixture from the hair tie.
- Soak the hair tie in warm soapy water for at least 30 minutes.
- Rinse off the hair tie and check to see if the stain has been removed.
- If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 2 - 6 until the soy sauce stain has been completely removed from the hair tie.
