- Grill brush
- Rags or paper towels
- Dish soap
- Cleaning powder
Steps to Cleaning Your Grill
- Remove all pieces from your grill, including the grates, burners, and any other removable pieces. Set aside for cleaning.
- Scrub off any excess food particles. Use a grill brush and soapy water to scrub away any leftover residue. Rinse off with a wet rag.
- Soak removable pieces in soapy water. Let them soak for at least 10 minutes to loosen any remaining stains.
- Scrub the pieces clean. Use a stiff-bristled brush or an abrasive cleaning pad to scrub away any remaining soy sauce stains.
- Rinse and dry the pieces. Once you’ve removed all the staining, rinse off the pieces with warm water and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Clean the inside of the grill. Sprinkle a generous amount of cleaning powder onto the interior of the grill (avoiding any electronics). Use a damp rag to rub the powder into the surfaces and scrub away the stains.
- Rinse off the powder and dry the interior. Rinse off the cleaning powder with a damp rag and then dry off completely. Make sure no moisture remains before replacing the pieces.
- Reassemble the grill and enjoy! After drying off all the pieces, reassemble grill and you’re ready to continue enjoying delicious grilled meals.
Additional Tips for Cleaning Your Grill
- Clean your grill regularly, as soon as you’ve finished cooking. This will help prevent buildup of stains and make cleanup much easier.
- If you’re having trouble removing tough stains, let the pieces soak overnight in a bowl of soapy water.
- Make sure that all removable pieces are completely dry before reassembling the grill.
