The most important step in getting rid of soy sauce stains is to prepare the stain for cleaning. To do this, you should first scrape off any excess soy sauce with a dull knife. Then, blot the area with a damp paper towel to remove as much of the remaining stain as possible.
Once the excess soy sauce has been removed, it's time to pre-treat the stain. This can be done by pouring a few drops of liquid dish detergent onto the stain and then gently rubbing it in using a soft cloth or brush. Let the detergent sit for around 10 minutes to give it time to work.
After pre-treatment step is complete, you should place the fleece in the washing machine and wash it on the gentle cycle, using cold water and a mild laundry detergent. Once the cycle is finished, take your fleece out of the machine and check stain. If it is still visible, repeat steps 2 and 3.
After the washing cycle is finished, place the fleece in the dryer and dry it on low heat. Once it is dry, the soy sauce stain should be completely gone.
With this simple four-step process, you can easily get rid of soy sauce stains from your fleece. Just remember to prepare, pre-treat, wash, and dry your fleece properly and you'll be good to go!
