  • A small bowl with cold water
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • A washcloth or soft scrub brush
  • Dish soap
  • Cloth towel

Step-by-step Guide to Cleaning Soy Sauce Stains

  1. Create a mixture of one tablespoon of white vinegar with two tablespoons of cold water.
  2. Place a cloth towel over the stain and use the cloth to blot up excess soy sauce.
  3. Gently rub the vinegar and water solution on the stained area using a washcloth or soft scrub brush.
  4. Let the mixture sit on the stain for about two minutes.
  5. Rinse the stained area with clean cold water.
  6. Mix a solution of one teaspoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of dish soap and two tablespoons of cold water.
  7. Rub the baking soda paste onto soy sauce stain.
  8. Using a washcloth or soft scrub brush, gently scrub stain in a circular motion for about three minutes.
  9. Rinse the stain with cold water.
