First, you'll need to act quickly when the stain happens. The faster you treat the stain, better results will be. Gently blot soy sauce off with a clean white cloth or kitchen towel to absorb as much of the liquid as you can.

Once you've removed as much liquid as possible, the next step is to rinse stained area with cool water. Don't scrub or rub the stain - this can make it worse! After rinsing, repeat the blotting process using a fresh cloth until the entire stain has been removed.

Now that the stain is gone, you can wash the garment according to fabric guidelines on the clothing care label. For best results, use a mild liquid detergent and cold water. If the stain is still visible, you may need to do another round of spot cleaning before washing.

After treating the stain and washing the garment, check to see if the stain has been completely removed. If necessary, repeat the spot cleaning and washing steps once more to get rid of any stubborn residue.

With these simple steps, you can easily remove soy sauce stains from cotton voile and keep your clothes looking clean and fresh.
