What You'll Need

  • Cold water
  • Dish soap
  • White vinegar
  • Borax
  • A toothbrush

Instructions

  1. As soon as possible after the spill, rinse the affected area of the fabric with cold water.
  2. Apply a few drops of dish soap directly to the stain.
  3. Scrub the stain gently with a toothbrush to loosen up the soy sauce.
  4. Rinse the area with cold water, then blot it dry with a clean cloth.
  5. Mix together 1 cup of white vinegar with 2 tablespoons of Borax, and apply the solution directly to stain.
  6. Let mixture sit for 30 minutes, then scrub the area with a toothbrush.
  7. Rinse the stained area with cold water and blot it dry with a clean cloth.
