As soon as you notice the stain, use a clean cloth or paper towel to gently blot spill. This will help remove as much of the soy sauce as possible before it has time to set in and makes the stain harder to remove.
After blotting, spray a pre-treatment cleaner onto the stained area and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before washing. This will help lift the stain even further.
Using cold water, begin to gently scrub the stained area with your fingers, being careful not to rub too hard and damage fabric. Then machine wash the clothing item on the delicate cycle.
When the cycle is finished, hang the item to air dry on an indoor drying rack or outside on a clothes line. Do not put item in the dryer as heat may cause the stain to set in deeper.
