To start, run a white cloth under cold water. Then, press the cloth onto soy sauce stain for a few seconds. Keep blotting until there’s no more liquid left on the cloth.
Use a mild laundry detergent and pour a few drops directly onto the stain. Gently rub the detergent into the fabric using circular motions. Make sure to use minimal pressure so you don’t damage the charmeuse fabric.
Once you’ve thoroughly rubbed the detergent into the stain, use a soft-bristled brush to scrape away any residue. Again, don’t apply too much pressure so that you don’t damage fabric.
Finally, rinse the area with cold water. When all of the detergent is gone, leave fabric to air dry. If the stain still hasn’t disappeared, repeat process until it does.
Handling soy sauce stains on charmeuse fabric doesn’t have to be a hassle. Follow the four steps listed above and you’ll be able to get rid of them, no problem.
