Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first step is to gently blot the stained area using a damp cloth or paper towel. This helps to absorb some of the soy sauce, which will make it easier to remove later.

Step 2: Pretreat the Stain

Once you've blotted away as much of the soy sauce as you can, you're ready to pretreat the stained area. Use a laundry prewash stain remover and apply it directly to the stain. If possible, let the prewash sit for 5 to 10 minutes before continuing.

Step 3: Launder the Capris

After pretreating soy sauce stain, it's time to launder the capris. Choose the hottest water setting that's safe for the fabric type, add detergent, then toss the capris in the washer. Once the cycle is complete, examine the stained area to make sure the stain is completely gone.

Step 4: Air Dry the Capris

Air drying your capris is the best way to prevent shrinkage and discoloration. Hang the pants up to dry or lay them flat on a dry towel. Avoid using a dryer or direct sunlight, as this can damage the fabric.
