The first thing you should do when soy sauce (or any other stain) lands on your boxers is act quickly. The faster you tackle the issue, the easier it will be to remove the stain.
Before you use any detergents or rub stain, try diluting it with some water. Start by running some cold water over the stained area until the stain begins to fade. This may take a few minutes, and you may need to repeat the process several times.
Once you've diluted the soy sauce stain as much as possible, apply some laundry detergent directly to the area. Allow the detergent to sit for a few minutes before beginning to rub the stain gently. The detergent helps break down the proteins in the soy sauce, making it easier to remove.
Once you've removed as much of the stain as possible, wash your boxers as usual. If possible, it's best to use hot water for washing cycle since this helps remove stains more effectively.
To avoid any damage to the fabric, allow your boxers to air-dry rather than putting them in the dryer. Once boxers are completely dry, inspect the area to make sure the soy sauce stain has been removed.
Stains on clothing can be stressful and embarrassing. But with the right approach, you can get rid of soy sauce stains from your boxers and continue wearing them with pride again. Don't forget to act fast and use a laundry detergent to boost your chances for success!
