Getting soy sauce stains out of board shorts can be tricky. This is partly due to the fact that the fabric used to make board shorts is designed to repel water. To remove these types of stains, you will need two basic ingredients – cold water and a stain remover liquid.

How to Clean Soy Sauce Stains from Board Shorts:

  1. First, use a paper towel to blot up the excess soy sauce from your board shorts.
  2. Next, mix a few drops of laundry detergent with cold water in a bowl.
  3. Submerge the stained area in the soapy solution for about five minutes.
  4. After that, rinse the area with cold water and let it air dry.
  5. Lastly, check for any remaining soy sauce stains. If they are still visible, apply a stain remover liquid directly to the affected area and let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing it off.

Tips to Keep in Mind:

  • Always use cold water when cleaning soy sauce stains.
  • Be sure to use a gentle detergent or a stain remover liquid to remove soy sauce stains.
  • Avoid putting your board shorts in the dryer until all of the stains have been removed.
  • If the stains still remain, you may need to repeat this process a few times.
