As soon as possible, take a clean cloth and gently absorb any excess soy sauce from Battenberg lace. Next, apply a pre-treatment product such as a household stain remover or spot cleaner onto the stain and rub gently into the fabric. Let it sit for several minutes before continuing.
In a bowl, create a cleaning solution by combining a small amount of mild liquid detergent, unscented dish soap, white vinegar, and powdered laundry detergent. Add lukewarm water until the mixture becomes soapy.
Soak the Battenberg lace in cleaning solution and let it sit for approximately 10 minutes. Gently swirl the fabric in solution and then rinse with cold water.
Gently squeeze out any excess moisture from the fabric and lay it flat on a clean towel. Blot the fabric with another clean, dry towel and leave it to air-dry.
