  1. Mix one teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent with a cup of warm water.
  2. Blot the stain with the solution and a soft cloth.
  3. Once the soy sauce is removed, use clean warm water to rinse the area and blot the area with a dry cloth.
  4. If the stain persists, mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with one cup of warm water and blot the area.
  5. Once the stain is gone, rinse the area with clean water and a dry cloth.
  6. If the stain is still present, place a few drops of enzyme-based detergent onto the area and let it sit for 20 minutes.
  7. Rinse area with clean water and a dry cloth to remove any soap residue.
  8. Let the area dry completely.
