Soy sauce stains can be difficult to remove from aprons, but with a little patience and the right cleaning supplies, it is possible. Here are a few tips to help you clean soy sauce stains from your apron:

  • Pretreat the Stain : Pretreating the stain with a solution of equal parts liquid detergent and water will help loosen the stain, making it easier to remove. Gently rub the stain with a toothbrush or soft cloth to work the solution into the fabric, then let it sit for 10 minutes before proceeding to next step.
  • Soak Fabric : After pretreating the stain, soak the apron in warm water and a small amount of laundry detergent. Let the fabric soak for 15-20 minutes before gently scrubbing the stain with a wire brush or toothbrush. Rinse the apron thoroughly, then check to make sure that the stain has been fully removed.
  • Use a Stain Remover : If the stain is still visible after soaking and scrubbing, you can use a commercial stain remover. Apply remover according to the instructions on package and let it sit for at least 10 minutes before rinsing the apron. Once again, make sure to rinse the apron thoroughly to remove any residue.
  • Launder the Apron : Once the stain is gone, launder apron as usual, either in a washing machine or washing by hand. Be sure to follow the care instructions on the label to ensure optimal results.

By following these steps, you can easily remove soy sauce stains and restore your apron to its former glory.
