Whether you're having a takeout feast or cooking up something delicious in kitchen, soy sauce is a staple in many households. But while it adds flavor to all your favorite meals, it can be a nightmare if it finds its way onto your activewear.
But don't fret. Soy sauce stains don't have to be permanent fixtures on your favorite outfits. With a few simple steps, you can easily get rid of soy sauce stains without damaging the fabric. Here's how:
To start, remove any excess soy sauce from fabric using a paper towel or napkin. Work quickly and gently so that you don't spread the stain any further. If the fabric is delicate, be careful not to damage the fibers.
Once you have removed the excess sauce, treat the stain by dabbing on a gentle detergent like Woolite or Dreft. Use a soft cloth and cold water to gently massage the detergent into the fabric. Then, let the detergent sit for 10-15 minutes before washing. This will give the detergent enough time to break down stain.
Once the detergent has done its job, it's time to wash the clothing. Use cool or warm water and a gentle cycle. It's best to avoid harsh detergents or bleach as they could damage the fiber. Once the cycle is complete, air dry the clothing away from direct sunlight.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
