Step 1: Blot the Stain Immediately

The first thing you should do when you get a soy sauce stain on your Abercrombie & Fitch clothing is to blot the area gently with a clean, dry cloth. This will help to absorb as much of the sauce as possible.

Step 2: Rinse the Area Under Cold Water

Once you’ve blotted the area, rinse it under cold water. Make sure you rinse from the back of garment, not front, to avoid pushing the stain deeper into the fabric.

Step 3: Apply Soap

After rinsing the area, apply a mild detergent or soap to the stain and gently rub it in. Let soap sit for a few minutes before rinsing again.

Step 4: Pretreat the Stain with Vinegar or Ammonia

If the stain still won’t come out, you can try pretreating it with either white vinegar or ammonia. To do this, mix 1 part vinegar or ammonia with 4 parts water, then use a clean cloth to apply mixture to the stain. Let mixture sit for several minutes, then rinse area.

Step 5: Wash

When the stain is gone, you can wash the garment according to the care instructions. Use a mild detergent and make sure the water isn’t too hot — hot water can set the stain permanently.
