  1. Mix a solution of mild detergent and warm water in a bowl.
  2. Dip a soft cloth in the solution and gently rub the stained area with the cloth to loosen the shoe polish.
  3. Rinse cloth with warm water and continue rubbing the stain until it's gone.
  4. If the stain persists, then mix vinegar and warm water in another bowl and dip the cloth in this solution and rub the stained area again.
  5. Rinse the cloth with warm water and rub the stain until it disappears.
  6. Finally, wipe the window with a clean cloth to remove any residue.
