Step 1: Treat the Stain Immediately

The first thing you should do is treat the stain as soon as possible. This will help prevent the stain from setting in further. Use a paper towel to absorb as much of the polish as you can, then use a damp cloth to blot out the remaining stain.

Step 2: Make a Cleaning Solution

Next, make a cleaning solution consisting of equal parts of water and white vinegar. You can also add a teaspoon of mild detergent or rubbing alcohol for extra cleaning power. Dip a cloth in the solution and gently dab it onto the stained area.

Step 3: Wash in the Washing Machine

Once the stain has been treated with the cleaning solution, it’s time to put the clothing item in the washing machine. Set the machine on a gentle cycle and add mild detergent. Once the cycle is complete, hang the clothing item up to dry.
