Materials Needed
- A soft cloth or sponge
- Laundry detergent
- Rubbing alcohol or white vinegar
- A brush or toothbrush
Instructions:
- Start by gently blotting the stain with a damp cloth or sponge until you can no longer get any of the stain off.
- Add a few drops of laundry detergent to the stain and rub it in with your fingers or with a brush or toothbrush.
- Rinse the laundry detergent off with warm water.
- If the stain is still there, try using rubbing alcohol or white vinegar to loosen it. Pour a small amount of either onto a cloth or sponge and dab the stain with it.
- Rinse the umbrella again with warm water.
- Let the umbrella air dry.
