Step 1: Gently Scrape Off the Excess Shoe Polish

Using a gentle scraping tool, such as a plastic knife or credit card, gently scrape away any excess shoe polish from the fabric of your tights. Be careful not to scrub too hard or you risk damaging the delicate material.

Step 2: Create a Cleaning Solution

Create a cleaning solution by mixing together a few drops of dishwashing liquid with a cup of warm water. Dip a clean, white cloth into the mixture and wring it out so it's damp but not soaking. Gently wipe your tights with the damp cloth, dabbing at the stained area until the stain is removed.

Step 3: Rinse and Air Dry

Once the stain is removed, rinse area with cold water to remove any leftover soap, then hang tights up to air dry. To speed up the drying process, you can use a hairdryer set on cool setting.
