Step 1: First, use warm water

Gently wet a soft cloth with warm water and dab at the stained area to remove as much of the shoe polish as you can. Keep in mind, you don’t want to rub too hard, as the delicate fabric may tear or pull apart.

Step 2: Then, add laundry soap

Now, grab a small bowl and mix a few drops of gentle laundry detergent with warm water. Using the same cloth, dab the mixture onto stain, gently rubbing it in circles until it’s gone. Rinse cloth and repeat if necessary.

Step 3: Finally, rinse and air dry

Once you’ve removed as much of the shoe polish as possible, the last step is to rinse area with cold water. Pat it dry and allow it to air-dry completely. Do not put fabric in the dryer as this could cause more damage.
