Start with a few basic supplies. You'll need a dry cloth or paper towel, some warm water, a few drops of liquid dish soap, a soft-bristled toothbrush, and a clean cloth.
Take the dry cloth and begin blotting away the shoe polish stain. Start at edges of stain and work your way inwards. Use a light dabbing motion.
Mix a few drops of liquid dish soap into a small bowl of warm water. Using a cloth or brush, lightly apply the soapy water to the stain. Let it sit for several minutes.
Using the soft-bristled toothbrush, gently scrub over the shoe polish stain. Be careful not to apply too much pressure as this could damage the fabric.
Once you're finished scrubbing, rinse the shoe with a clean cloth and some warm water. Then let the shoe air dry. Do not put it in the dryer or use any heat.
With these five steps, you can effectively remove shoe polish stains from your sneakers and keep them looking good as new. Cleaning shoe polish stains doesn't have to be a daunting task; just follow steps outlined here!
