What You Need Before You Start

  • Sponge
  • Mild liquid detergent
  • Kitchen paper towels
  • White vinegar
  • Small soft brush
  • Bowl

Instructions

  1. Spot-test liquid detergent on the inner side of the shearling garment in an unnoticeable area.
  2. Soak the sponge in a bowl containing a mild liquid detergent diluted with lukewarm water.
  3. Gently rub the stained area with the sponge. Do not rub it too harshly or you might damage the fabric.
  4. Dry area off with kitchen paper towels.
  5. If the stain is still visible, you can try rubbing white vinegar on it using a soft brush and rinse off with lukewarm water.
  6. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 if necessary.
  7. Leave the garment to air-dry before putting it back into use.
