Shoe polish is a great way to make old shoes look new again, but when these can shoes get stained, they can be tricky to clean. Here are a few steps you can take to get them looking brand-new again.

Step 1: Determine Type of Stain

The first step is to determine the type of stain you’re dealing with. Is it an oil-based stain or a water-based stain? This will determine type of cleaner you’ll need to use.

Step 2: Apply Cleaning Solution

Once you’ve determined type of stain, it’s time to apply appropriate cleaning solution. For oil-based stains, use a mild detergent mixed with water and a small amount of white vinegar. For water-based stains, use a mild detergent and warm water.

Step 3: Blot Stain

Using a clean cloth or paper towel, gently blot the stain, working from the outer edges towards the center. Do not rub the stain as this could spread it further and cause more damage.

Step 4: Rinse and Dry

Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with clean water and then dry with a soft cloth. You may need to repeat this process until the stain is gone.

By following these steps, you should be able to get your pumps looking fresh and new in no time!
