  • White vinegar
  • Dishwashing liquid
  • Water
  • Soft cloth or bristle brush

Step-by-step Instructions:

  1. Create a mixture of equal parts white vinegar, dishwashing liquid, and water in a bowl.
  2. Apply solution to the stained area of the mules using either a soft cloth or a bristle brush.
  3. Allow solution to sit on stain for 10 minutes.
  4. Rub the stained area gently with either the cloth or brush until the shoe polish is removed.
  5. Rinse mules with cold water.
  6. Allow mules to air dry.
