Removal Process
- If the shoe polish stain is still wet, soak it with cold water immediately. Do not use hot water, as this will cause the shoe polish to set into the fabric.
- Rub a mild detergent onto the affected area and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Soak the item in lukewarm water for 30 minutes.
- Gently rub the stained area with a soft cloth until the shoe polish is completely gone.
- Rinse well with lukewarm water and let the item air dry.
Tips & Warnings
- Always test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying directly to the stain.
- Be careful not to rub too hard or to allow the cleaning solution to penetrate too deeply into the fabric.
- Do not use bleach, as it will cause damage to the fabric.
