What You Need

  • White cotton fabric
  • Mild soap
  • Vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Warm water

Instructions

  1. Gently dab the stained area with a white cloth or cotton fabric to remove any excess shoe polish.
  2. Mix a few drops of mild soap with some warm water in a bowl. Submerge garter in the mixture for several minutes.
  3. Remove the garter from the bowl and gently scrub the stained area with a soft brush or sponge.
  4. Mix one part vinegar with two parts baking soda in a bowl. Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and rub it onto stain. Let it sit for a few minutes.
  5. Rinse off garter with cold water and let it air dry.
