Method 1: Using Laundry Detergent
- If the stain is still wet, first scrape off any excess shoe polish with a spoon or a dull knife. Be careful not to spread it around.
- Apply laundry detergent on stained area. Let it sit for 10 minutes before scrubbing it lightly.
- Rinse the area with cold water and check if the stain has disappeared. If not, repeat the steps above.
- Once the stain is gone, wash the clothing as usual.
Method 2: Using Baby Wipes
- Gently dab the shoe polish stain with baby wipes. Do not wipe or rub it as this may cause the stain to spread and get bigger.
- Continue dabbing until the entire stain is removed.
- Rinse the area with cold water to clean it.
- If the stain persists, apply some laundry detergent on the stained area and let it soak for 10-15 minutes before rinsing it off completely.
- Finally, wash the clothing as usual.
