Shoe polish stains can be stubborn and difficult to remove, especially when they're on the delicate fibres of fleece. To make sure you don't damage your fabric, here are three quick and easy steps to help you get rid of those pesky shoe polish marks:

  1. Examine stain and scrape away as much of the shoe polish as you can with a blunt knife or a spoon.
  2. Gently rub some white spirit onto the area using a clean cloth – this will help break up the shoe polish and loosen it from the fabric.
  3. Clean the area again with some warm soapy water and use a cloth to dab at it until the stain is gone. Re-apply the white spirit if needed.

It's important to always test your cleaning method on a small area of the fabric first, and never use chlorine bleach or harsh chemicals – these can cause irreparable damage!

By following these three steps, you should be able to easily remove any shoe polish stains from your fleece. Good luck!
