What You Will Need:

  • A sponge
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Laundry detergent
  • Iron
  • Old cloth

Step 1: Sponge with Vinegar and Baking Soda Paste

Start by mixing one tablespoon of white vinegar with two tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl. Apply the paste onto shoe polish stain using a sponge.

Step 2: Launder the Fabric

After applying the paste, use a damp cloth to rub the stained area gently. Then, launder the fabric according to the washing instructions provided.

Step 3: Iron the Stained Area

Once the fabric is dry, use an old cloth to cover the stained area and an iron to heat it up. This should help dissolve the shoe polish stain and make it easier to remove. Be careful not to scorch delicate fabrics with iron.
