Step 1: Remove Excess Shoe Polish

Before you start the cleaning process, gently scrape off as much of the shoe polish as possible with a butter knife. It’s important to be careful not to press too hard, as this could damage the fabric of your crop top.

Step 2: Prepare a Cleaning Solution

Create a cleaning solution by mixing a quarter-cup of warm water with a teaspoon of liquid detergent. Apply some of solution to a clean cloth and use it to blot the stained area. Continue blotting until the stain has been sufficiently removed.

Step 3: Launder the Crop Top

Once you have finished cleaning the stained area, rinse the crop top with cold water. Place it in the washer on a gentle cycle and use a mild detergent. After washing, hang the crop top up to air dry.
