Removing shoe polish stains from coveralls can seem like a daunting task, but with a few household materials and a bit of elbow grease, you'll soon have them looking like new again!

What You Will Need:

  • Dish soap
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Soft cloths
  • Sponge

Step-by-Step instructions:

  1. Mix ¼ cup of dish soap, two tablespoons of baking soda, and two tablespoons of white vinegar together in a bowl.
  2. Soak a soft cloth in the mixture.
  3. Gently rub stained area with cloth in a circular motion.
  4. Rinse the cloth and repeat steps 2-3 until the stain is gone.
  5. If any residue remains, mix five parts water and one part white vinegar together in a bowl. Soak a clean cloth in the mixture, then gently rub area until the residue is gone.
  6. Allow the area to air dry before wearing your coveralls.

Additional Tips:

  • Avoid scrubbing stain as this can cause it to set deeper into the fabric.
  • Always perform a colorfast test on an inconspicuous area of coveralls before cleaning.
  • Be sure to read the care label on the coveralls for any specific instructions.
