What You'll Need

  • Liquid detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Clean cloth
  • An old toothbrush

Instructions

  1. Mix one tablespoon of liquid detergent with one cup of white vinegar and stir until combined.
  2. Dip the soft-bristled brush into the mixture and gently scrub stained area until the shoe polish is removed.
  3. Rinse the brush in lukewarm water.
  4. Use clean cloth to wipe off any remaining residue.
  5. If there are still stubborn shoe polish stains, use an old toothbrush dipped into the mixture to scrub the affected area.
  6. Finally, wipe the area with a clean cloth to remove all traces of the shoe polish.

Tips

  • Be sure to use a gentle and non-abrasive cleaning product on the clogs to avoid damaging material.
