Chantilly lace is a delicate fabric that looks beautiful as a part of any outfit. Unfortunately, it can stain easily, and shoe polish stains are particularly tough to clean off. But don’t worry: with the right steps, you can get those stains out and have your Chantilly lace looking fresh and new.

First, you’ll need to isolate the stained area of fabric. You can do this by placing a paper towel or white cloth behind stain to protect the other side of the fabric. Then, using a soft brush, gently brush away any excess dirt or debris from the stained area.
Next, mix a solution of one part water and one part vinegar in a small bowl. Place the stained fabric on top of bowl, and using the solution and a soft brush, gently scrub stained area. Allow the fabric to soak for several minutes before rinsing with cold water.
If the stain has not been removed, you can try spot-treating it with rubbing alcohol. Dab a cotton swab in the rubbing alcohol and apply it to the stained area. Rinse it out with cold water to remove the alcohol. Repeat these steps until the stain is gone.
Finally, lay the fabric flat on a towel and allow it to dry completely. Once the fabric is dry, you should be able to see stain has been successfully removed.
