Before you get to work cleaning those pesky shoe polish stains, you'll need a few items. Gather up some white vinegar, a small container, a soft cloth or old t-shirt, a laundry detergent, and a clean, soft brush.
If the stain is particularly stubborn, you can try applying the white vinegar solution directly to the stain. Let it soak for a few minutes before continuing with the above steps.
It's always easier to prevent the stains in the first place! If you're polishing your dress shoes near your business suit, place a old towel between the shoes and the suit to protect it from any splashes of shoe polish.
