Use a Stain Remover Solution

Start the stain removal process by using a stain remover solution. To make it yourself, mix one part white vinegar and two parts rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture liberally over the affected area and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Pre-treat the Stain

Pre-treat the area by gently rubbing in a small amount of laundry detergent. You can use a toothbrush or an old cloth to rub the affected area. Let it sit for 5 minutes then rinse clean.

Wash the Briefs

You should now be able to wash briefs using warm water and regular detergent. If the stain is still visible, you may need to repeat the pre-treating step before washing.

Hang to Dry

Once the briefs are washed, hang them up to dry. Do not tumble dry as heat can cause the stain to set in permanently. Once the brief dries, check to see if the stain has been removed. If not, repeat the steps until the stain is gone.
