What You Will Need

  • Dish soap
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Nail polish remover (without acetone)
  • Cotton swabs
  • White cloth

Step-by-Step Directions for Stain Removal

  1. Mix together equal parts dish soap and hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. The solution should be foamy when stirred together.
  2. Gently apply the mixture onto the stained area with a cotton swab. Be sure not to rub the material too hard, as this may cause the stain to spread.
  3. Allow the mixture to sit for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.
  4. If the stain is still present, dampen a white cloth with a bit of nail polish remover and dab the stain until it fades away.
  5. Rinse the material once more with cold water and allow it to air dry before wearing again.
