1. Scrape Off Excess Shoe Polish

If possible, scrape off any excess shoe polish with a plastic scraper. Be careful not to spread the polish too much. Once scrape is complete, vacuum up any remaining flakes or powder.

2. Make a Mixture of Soap and Water

Mix together a few drops of mild dishwashing soap and warm water in a bowl or bucket. Make sure the water is not too hot as this could cause the fabric to shrink or discolor.

3. Apply the Mixture to the Stain

Dip a cloth into the mixture and gently rub the stained area until the stain fades away. If needed, apply more soapy water to cloth and continue rubbing. Do not scrub or apply too much pressure, as this could damage the fabric of the backpack.

4. Rinse the Stain

Once the stain has faded, rinse the area with cold water. This will help to remove any leftover soap residue.

5. Air Dry the Backpack

Allow the backpack to air dry completely before using it again. If possible, place the backpack in an area that gets plenty of sun and fresh air.
