To properly clean oil stains from your Vans, you'll need the following items:
- A soft cloth
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Dish soap
Step-by-Step Instructions
Once you have the necessary materials, start the cleaning process by following these steps:
- Blot the affected area with a soft cloth to remove any excess oil.
- Mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water in a small bowl.
- Using the cloth, apply the vinegar solution to the oil stain and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
- Mix a solution of equal parts baking soda and water in a separate bowl.
- Spread baking soda solution over the oil stain and use your fingers to gently rub it in.
- Let the baking soda mixture sit for 10-15 minutes before wiping off with a damp cloth.
- If the stain persists, add a few drops of dish soap to the baking soda solution and let it sit for an additional 10 minutes before wiping it off.
With a bit of time and effort, you should be able to successfully remove any oil stains from your Vans.
