Step 1: Gather Supplies

To get started, first you'll need to gather a few supplies. Here's what you'll need:

  • Dry cleaning solvent
  • White paper towels or cloth towels
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Sponge or soft-bristled brush

Step 2: Soak & Blot

Once you have everything together, it's time to tackle the stain. Start by pouring a bit of dry cleaning solvent on the stain, and then gently rubbing it in with a sponge or soft-bristled brush. Then, put a few drops of rubbing alcohol on the stained area.

After that, place a white paper towel or soft cloth on the stain and press down firmly. This will help to absorb the solvent, rubbing alcohol, and the oil stains. Do this several times until you can no longer see the stain.

Step 3: Finish Up

Finally, thoroughly rinse tuxedo with lukewarm water. Once you're done rinsing, lay the tuxedo out flat and allow it to air dry completely. When it’s finished drying, check the tuxedo to make sure that the stain is completely gone.

By following these easy steps, you can easily remove stubborn scissor oil stains from your tuxedo and restore it to its former glory!
